Dominic served in the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of captain. He was stationed in California and Japan. In 1956, he married Patty Brown, also from Dover, and they moved to Chicago, Ill. In 1958, Dominic received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, where he also worked in their Industrial Relations Center. Dominic served on the Piscataway School Board for 26 years and the athletic field is named in his honor. In 1965, he was chosen “Man of the Year” by the Piscataway Jaycees and, in 1999, his name was placed on the “Wall of Fame” at Dover High School. Dominic was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway for 54 years. After retirement, he volunteered his services, maintaining the church and grounds as well as renovating its basement. Dominic was a dearly loved husband, and father of two daughters and three sons, and grandfather of nine.
